discontinued codes

Where can I find discontinued codes, such as spf, and why they were discontinued? I'm wondering if the listing for Scandinavian Pidgin Sign Language was spurious. — kwami (talk) 23:41, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

The official list is at http://www.sil.org/iso639-3/iso-639-3_Retirements_20100202.tab and doesn't contain spf, nor does our list. Where did you find that code? --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 19:44, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

It was in Ethnologue 13, discontinued by 14. No mention of why. The official list doesn't go back that far. — kwami (talk) 07:09, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
