Added reverse links to pages for all those not in red. And added auction of medal found on Selina Martin (any info on final price?; updated - sold for £27,000 to National Gallery of Victoria, Australia.

Contacted Museum of Australian Democracy re use of image of Charlotte Blacklock medal.

Also found a reference to Catherine Pine (nurse) 'suffragette' medal being given to British (sic) College of Nursing, probably not a Hunger Strike medal for her? Kaybeesquared (talk) 20:14, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

help needed editing list[edit]

article for Elsie Wolff Van Sandau is joint with her sister Mathilde, but so far only Elsie's medal listed; need assistance to edit the list to reference ^[1] to make that clearer. Thanks Kaybeesquared (talk) 21:41, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

error in name? delete Alice Holloway[edit]

Alice Holloway [21] is not known suffragette, and no information found on searching - the link provided describes Alice Hawkins i.e. Alice's Holloway Medal.

Removed Louie Cullen from list of medal recipients. Reading the sources, she continued to be very open about her suffragette activities right up until her death. In many pictures after her emigration to Australia, she's proudly wearing her Holloway brooch. It seems likely that if she was a medal recipient, she would have worn it. Removed Hannah Mitchell from the list of medal recipients as sources on her page suggest she left the WSPU in 1908, one year before the hunger strikes began. MsJoat (talk) 14:26, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Lila Clunas from the list of likely medal recipients as sources^[1] have her as Dundee branch secretary of the Women's Freedom League between 1908-1912. Therefore even if she was a hunger striker, she wasn't a WSPU hunger striker so not entitled to a medal. MsJoat (talk) 15:53, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Minnie Turner from the list of likely medal recipients. All of the sources that mention her, (i.e. Atkinson and Crawford) make no mention of her as a hunger striker, although she was closely involved in helping other hunger strikers recover. MsJoat (talk) 18:29, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
