Flora of _Michigan_?

Is there anything specifically Michiganesque about the humulus lupulus? If not, I suggest we remove the Flora of Michigan category - we can't possibly include a category tag in every plant identifying it as a "Flora of X" for every region where it grows. - Tournesol (talk) 13:30, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

That there is also an article on hops and that there is no mention of the List of hop varieties. Should these not be merged or cross referenced? There is no mention on the importance of hop as an industry, that there are still working hop farms (such as at Scotney Castle) and there is no mention of oast houses. evaluation

This article has basic information and good sources. The structure is there in the article and the topics are well balanced but they all need to be expanded on. The second paragraph has an odd ending and more information would be helpful. The topics don't really offer information so much as they give references to other pages. It might be beneficial to merge this page with the Hops page that is referenced under Uses.
