Place of birth[edit]

The POB is given as Sallach, Styria, in the brief biog with the gravestone, but there is no Sallach in Styria, although there is one in Carinthia, and several in Bavaria. There is however a Salla in Styria. Something to be cleared up, although there isn't much information about on Meurer outside his naval career. HeartofaDog (talk) 17:24, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
