Enclosure Page Consolidation[edit]
It seems to me that the existence of separate pages for enclosures used in engineering is redundant and confusing to readers. I have found the following pages: mechanical enclosures (this page), electrical enclosures, computer housings, and generic containers, none of which are the first page to come up when searching for enclosures. I would like to propose creating a consolidated page that includes an overview of principles related to enclosures pertaining to general engineering principles (ie waterproofing, dust protection, user safety, aesthetic appearance) that can serve as a one-stop-shop for readers looking into professional enclosure usage / design.
