Holme Park[edit]

Holme Park is the name of an area which comprises a large house (rebuilt a few times over several centuries) and its former estate grounds extending from the River Thames to Old Bath Road (running alongside the current A4). The sports ground mentioned in the article occupies part of Holme Park, as do many current properties along Sonning Lane and Holme Park Farm (not sure if there's still a working farm there now). The main house (the most recent one built on the site by Robert Palmer in the 1880s) and the grounds immediately around it is currently Reading Blue Coat School. The original entrance to Holme Park is the North Lodge gateway at junction of Sonning Lane and Pearson Road, built at the same time and in the same style as the current main house.

The article should be restructured to reflect that the current sports ground is just one part of Holme Park, and Holme Park is not a sports ground. The heading link to Reading Blue Coat School is not helpful, as it describes the school (as expected), and not Holme Park, of which the school is currently also just one part.
