Contradicting information[edit]
The information in this sentence "It is unique in the plant kingdom as the only known flower to pollinate itself" appears to contradict with the information in Self-pollination, as Self-pollination article shows that there's some more plants that can self-pollinate other than Holcoglossum amesianum. So Holcoglossum amesianum isn't the "only known flower to pollinate itself", is it? Bluetpp (talk) 10:09, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Yes I absolutely agree! It is quite simply a false statement. Autogamy in plants is not a singular adaption. For instance several other orchids do that as well.[1][2][3] This is why I am removing this statement.Conan Wolff (talk) 18:18, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
