POV?[edit]

It appears to be slanted completely towards Korea, especially the North. Can this be expanded or should it just be merged and redirected into existing articles about Korea? --Ifnord (talk) 22:15, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how it is - could you explain the problem in a bit more detail? --Tyrannus Mundi (talk) 13:19, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Playerstroke (talk) 23:04, 30 November 2012 (UTC) I just did a more neutral revision of the term and noted afterward of it being used often to describe North Korea.[reply]

What is the purpose of regurgitating outdated and false information?[edit]

What exactly is the purpose of letting us know that the Carpenter's Geographical Reader of Asia thought the United States opened up Korea to trade? It's completely false and does nothing to help this article at all. Please learn to only include relevant information. The key word being "relevant." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.78.58.135 (talk) 16:25, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Use of the term Hermit Kingdom outside of Korea[edit]

It seems the article is only concentrating on Korea being a hermit kingdom when it has been used describe more then countries and societies. The Hermit Kingdom was also used to describe the complacency of the grocery store chain A&P. It was called the Hermit Kingdom by the business community. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Playerstroke (talkcontribs) 02:58, 3 December 2012 (UTC) Playerstroke (talk) 03:13, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
