Potential vandalism[edit]

colorless green windbreaker? how can a jacket be green and also colorless? i dont believe 'colorless' to be a shade of green. it is a paradoxical statement and a probable vandalism.

Sorry, Btyner, I by no means intended to omit that appearance - I was called away halfway through editing - however I felt that the previous wording was unnecessary. Unless one was going to list all of his guest appearances by date, there is no reason why a guest role on King of the Hill should be listed with date and other details when most of his other guest roles aren't. I have returned the information, but placed it along with other guest appearances Mr. Winkler has made. :) Daydream believer2 04:57, August 26, 2005 (UTC)

New to this but saw him on The Bob Newhart Show tonight and was trying to determine if it was before he was on Happy Days and noticed the omission of his appearance as a former(?) bank robber so I thought I'd add it in with as much back-up as I could. Ph.D[edit]

He doesn't have a Ph.D. (even Honorary), so I made the appropriate edit.

Yeah I don't think he has a Ph.D, only a few places mention it, and those are probably getting their info from here. As far as I can tell Emerson doesn't even have a anything to do with Hebrew Literature or even offer Ph.D's. I'm deleting until anybody can prove it. HybridFusion 21:12, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He didn't get his Ph.D., and in fact, was on Happy Days at the time.

According to his new book, he did get an honorary PhD in Hebrew Literature from Emerson, p. 128 in "I Never Met An Idiot on the River". The King of TV, paul goebel http://www.thekingoftv.com/, does a game in his podcast called 6 degrees of Henry Winkler. Perhaps that could appear in the trivia section? Benbenbenben

Vandalism[edit]

I've edited the Personal Life and Career section to remove what seems to be vandalism. All of Henry Winkler's children's names were changed, and his wife's name was preceded by "former buddhist monk...". " Also, his parents were listed as buddhists, and his birthplace was changed to "fonzetown, mass". I removed a cited reference to "buddhistjournal.com" which resolved to a placeholder web page without content. In the Career section I corrected various changes like "Lords of Flatballs", "Ron Burgundy" instead of "Ron Howard", and "Night Stuff" instead of "Night Shift".

I removed what appears to be more vandalism. [[[Max Bemis]]] was linked as being Winkler's son but he is not his son. Never without his motorcycle?[edit]

This sounds completely made up...it says he was only allowed to wear the leather jacket in scenes with his motorcycle...yet he wore the leather jacket throughout most of the show's run, and most scenes did not include the motorcycle. Missing title from Filmography[edit]

I have just seen a 2008 tv movie called "The most wonderful time of the year" in which Henry Winkler plays a character called Ralph. Now that "Template:Infobox actor" is being redirected to "Template:Infobox person", which does, the non-existant reference named "Judaism" is causing an error. I don't do much on Wikipedia so I'm not sure the proper way to add this, but he recently came out with a new book - "I've Never Met An Idiot on the River". It seems like it would be good to update his page with this, but it doesn't fit under the current book section. I don't understand what this means[edit]

"whenever Rich or Ann Daniels was uninvolved, his company was called Fair Dinkum Productions. He chose the name in a nod to Australia, where the term Fair Dinkum is a national slang." So if Rich and Ann Daniels are out of the office for the day, does the company issue all contracts and checks under this business name? Contradictions[edit]

The Fonzie article says Cunningham appeared in all episodes but the Henry Winkler article says he left before the end of the series. Th Fonzie article also says Mickey Dolenz was first considered for the role but the Winkler article says that they were looking for a tall, hunky blonde (which Dolenz was not). FATHERS name changed in the USA ?[edit]

His father was called HARRY IRVING

both of his names are not german. It is said that they were german jews but i have never seen a person in germany with the name IRVING. Harry is also not so common in germany and especially not before 1945.
