Not his photo[edit]

The photo in the infobox cannot be this Henry Howard - he is wearing decorations most (if any) of which the Earl did not possess including the insignia of a Companion of the Order of the Bath and a Queen's South Africa Medal (though the Earl did not serve in the Boer War). He also looks a few decades older than a man would be in 1902 (note also the Edward VII Coronation Medal) who had been born in 1878. This is probably another member of the widespread Howard family (or of a family not even related).Cloptonson (talk) 10:42, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Following on from the above:
I agree it is a different Henry Howard. The Welsh Portrait Collection simply describes the subject as 'Henry Howard'. In addition to the correct observations above, the photo shows a man in a colonel’s uniform, yet the 19th Earl died while holding the rank of major, and was never a colonel. He also wears the India General Service Medal (1854–94), which he was too young to qualify for.
I have therefore replaced this photo in the 19th Earl’s article.
