Name[edit]

The name Glockler raced under was "Helm Glockler" - many sources state that Helmut was his full name, but it doesn't make it true. His full name was Helm, not Helmut or Wilhelm - it might be unusual but there it is. A discussion on the man's name developed on a relevant thread on The Nostalgia Forum, which is a part of AtlasF1.com - part of Glockler's family tree was posted, along with a contemporary German article mentioning his unusual forename.
