Editing of article[edit]

the editing has been done in accordance with [1] the Wikipedia notes on writing about settlements. The recommendations assist an editor to include as much information about a settlement under selected headings; references for all statements should be given; and an infobox supplied. I have done what I can with this place - and note that it is both a village and the wider civil parish. It may well be that some of the constituent parts of the latter have important things to be added; the recommendations suggest that this all appears here, and not put in a separate (probably stub) article.
