Merge Lal Chand Usta here?

An article on the architect Lal Chand Ustad was just created. However I'm unable to find references that contain substantial info about him, except of course sources saying that he designed Hawa Mahal. Would it make sense to redirect the architect's page here? (And perhaps leave Category:Indian architects on the redirect) Pichpich (talk) 17:44, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

I guess the real question is if he's independently notable based on designing Hawa Mahal. The only people that I think can legitimately make that decision will be found in Wikiprojects. I would invite WP:WPARCH and WP:INRJ (a child project of WP:INDIA). I highly doubt notability would be easily established via WP:GNG but it may be via WP:ARTIST point three and people at those Wikiprojects will be able to make the call.

So if he's notable on his own, the article shouldn't be merged if some more information is added. If he isn't notable or more info isn't added, it should be deleted/merged. OlYeller21^Talktome 19:41, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
