Need Editing[edit]

I've tried my best to add as much info to Harry Haywood's infobox as I could. His previous spouses need to be added in, along with a better description for his occupation. The infobox also needs a picture. Meadamo (talk) 18:28, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

I've put a lot of time into getting this article up and running, and, apart from adding a section on Haywood's pre-revolutionary life, I don't think it cries out for much to be done, so if anybody feels the need to make any major changes, I would love some discussion. There's a lot of good information in the article -- if you want more feedback, you could consider nominating it for good article review. I personally don't see the relevance of most of the Marx, Lenin and Stalin writings linked at the bottom. They seem only distantly related to Haywood, and might fit better in The Communist Party and African-Americans. The 1985 date is correct. I found an article he wrote for the Guardian in 1984 re-appraising the New Communist Movements position towards the USSR.

GA Review[edit]

The article is well-written, with excellent prose throughout. Per GA criteria, any individual statements (for example "In Richard Wright's autobiographical novel Black Boy (American Hunger), the character of Buddy Nealson represents Haywood." from the lead) that could be challenged should have specific in-line citation for them. More generally, the one reference listed is an autobiography, which can not be assumed to be a neutral source. I would suggest checking the material from a more neutral source and including those sources in the references section as well. Good work so far, though. Flow[edit]

Leading figure in the CP of Soviet Russia?[edit]
