The following information was the latest version of the Thomas Harrison Middle School article before being redirected to the District per AfD. Please feel free to incorporate suitable information from below (and more) as desired into the main article.

Thomas Harrison Middle School is in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It is part of the Harrisonburg City School System. The Harrisonburg City School system has the highest percentage of English language learners in the state of Virginia.

THMS serves grades six through eight, and is home of the Blue Streaks. It implements a "team" structure - each grade level is separated into two or three teams of students who share classrooms and teachers.

There are 8 teams at THMS. The "Stars" and "UBUs" are the sixth grade teams. The "Masterminds," "Excellerators," and "Power" are the seventh grade teams. The "Aviators (formerly the "Navigators")," "Voyagers," and "Explorers" are the eighth grade teams. There are currently 954 students.

Betsy Dunnenberger is principal. John Shipley and Joe Glick are assistant principals.
