File:Harish Chandra.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Harish Chandra.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Infringing material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:20, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Paul or Pauli?[edit]

"In 1945, he moved to University of Cambridge, Cambridge and worked as a research student under Paul Dirac. While at Cambridge, he attended lectures by Wolfgang Pauli, and during one of them pointed out a mistake in Paul's work. The two were to become life long friends."

Was the mistake in Pauli's work or in Dirac's work? I suspect that the "Paul" is a typo and should be "Pauli" but it might refer (too informally) Paul Dirac. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DHR (talkcontribs) 20:01, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
