Untitled[edit]

grammatical article error (you can't say "a major figure", but "the major figure". Silajdžić can't, however, be stated to be "the major figure in Bosnian politics", but can be only said to be e.g. "one of main figures..." (which I put)).

major faults in politics subjectivity and false statements[edit]

Corrected two false statements about Hague verdict and put references to bbc about the theme, and removed a false statement about war in Bosnia being "led by Serbs". In fact, Serbs dominate the politics of Bosnia (where they’re the minority) because Bosnia is not a real electoral democracy, as we can see in Freedom House map. The formula of Dayton made the Republika Srpska a vetoing power in any decision the Bosnian government would make, forcing the FBiH to always choose the path of compromise, which is always the path of Serb demands.
Nowadays, even the premier of Bosnia is a Serb, though in general deocratic elections Serbs wouldn’t have any chance of having any real power. Bosnia-Herzegovina today is not a democracy, is a compromise-made headless country where Srpska play the cards, aided by Belgrade.
And the West don’t do anything concrete about this because it wants to appease Serbia and Russia.
Republika Srpska should be unitied with Serbia, then both sides (Muslims and Serbs) can govern themselves without interfering with one another. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.117.107.220 (talk) 12:24, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To create a Republika Srpska inside the borders of Bosnia with the intention to annex it to Serbia is Greater Serbian nationalist ideology — the same idology professed by the master war criminals of the 1991-1999 Yugoslav Wars Slobodan Milosevic, Zeljko Raznatovic, Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic. Haris Silajdzic is quite right in his assertions over the current Bosnian situation.

Mistake[edit]

  • The article says that the International Court of Justice cleared Serbia of military aggression on Bosnia-Herzegovina during the 1992-1995 war etc. This is not true, since the ICJ does not have the jurisdiction to say that there was an aggression or not (it is not even recognized as a war crime), thus ICJ could never state that. Therefore, this is not correct. What Court said however was that the Sebia was not guilty for the genocide in Srebrenica. --Harac 15:22, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its fine, although I would say "genocide" instead of "massacre", because you put it in the same sentence with ICJ who defined it like that, plus the article that you refer to also says genocide --Harac 11:59, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cyrillic[edit]

Is Serbian Cyrillic necessary? -- Haris Silajdžić isn't Serbian nor was he born in Serbia. The Cyrillic translation was just added on 8th February 2013... I nominate it to be taken off his wiki. --DemirBajraktarevic (talk) 20:43, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
