I needed a while to sort everything out here. Thanks for your patience and help

Lack of references[edit]

I re-added the {{unsourced}} tag because none of the four References is a reliable source. Three books by the subject and a Flight Simulator fan page are not reliable sources. User:Zoe|(talk) 03:55, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE:[edit]

You might be right Zoe, but please concider that the Page you mentioned includes Informations about the unit, JV 44. We are using quotes and details with agreement of the book author Robert Forsyth and Hans Ekkehard Bob himself. Also in use my own rsearch details that I have collected for more then 7 years. I do not plan to publish a book, nor do I have tendences to earn money with my research. I just want to share well researched details with the community. In my opinion enough sources.........

Please read WP:V and WP:RS. Your personal research is [[WP:|original research]] and is not permitted in Wikipedia articles. Neither are books published by the subject of the article. I'm readding the tag. User:Zoe|(talk) 22:36, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 04:02, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Does not meet WP:SOLDIER & sig RS coverage not found link, just passing mentions or statements based on personal interviews. The article is unsourced and reads like a fan page. The page has lacked references since 2006 as noted above: Talk:Hans-Ekkehard_Bob#Lack_of_references.

A de.wiki article exists, but is equally unconvincing for notability; not notable either as a soldier or an entrepreneur. Did not hold a significant command and topped out as Major. Successful completion of missions (sorties flown, # of enemy aircraft shot down, etc) is not part of SOLDIER. Please also see a note at MilHist Talk Archives for background behind the redirect. In summary, per the outcome of the discussion at Notability:People on notability of Knight's Cross recipients: permalink, certain recipients were deemed non notable and WP:SOLDIER has been modified accordingly: diff. The articles of these recipients are being redirected to alphabetical lists. K.e.coffman (talk) 18:01, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Search on JSTOR and newspapers brings up 0 references, books brings up 2 self-authored books and one other book. Germsteel (talk) 05:29, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
