Observations[edit]

  • Reference 5 requires registration
    • The reference is from the New York Times. It actually does not require registration unless you view a certain amount of articles. I stand by keeping this article on the page because it has a significant amount of information that cannot be found elsewhere. see below
  • Reference 40 (Utah PBS) is slow to load? (Blank page)
    • I see what you mean here. I went ahead and replaced it with a different PBS source. Let me know if this source works.  Done
  • e developed a blood disease that required him to receive transfusions every four weeks. (Do we know the nature of this disease?)
    • There was only one article that ever discussed this blood disease. I could not find any further information so I removed it. His cause of death was "undisclosed" so perhaps it is better that I just removed this sentence altogether.
      Resolved
  • Ernest Tubb was another notable influence in his early years and Locklin often copied his musical image. (Is it more resepectful to reference Tubb as the one who established the Honky Tonk style which others took up and emulated?)
    • I re-worded it. Let me know your thoughts.  Done
