  • ... that the 2018 Hamari Paltan was the last film of veteran Indian actor Tom Alter? Source: "Hamari Paltan: The last film of veteran actor Tom Alter, to release on April 27". New Delhi. United News of India. Retrieved 12 April 2020.

  • The article is new enough and long enough, and is adequately sourced. The hook fact is cited inline and verified in the source, and no close paraphrasing was found. A QPQ has been done. I'm not sure if the hook would work for international audiences as I'm not sure if Alter is well-known outside of India, so perhaps a different hook fact or wording could be used instead. Hope this will do. --Skr15081997 (talk) 13:07, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It sounds good, although it might need to be reworded to not repeat the word "film" so much. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:50, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Narutolovehinata5, I've tweaked the ALT1 a little. Now the hook has only instance of "film". --Skr15081997 (talk) 13:22, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not really too familiar with Indian English, but is "the 2018 Hamari Paltan" grammatically correct in that dialect? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:47, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • ALT1a: ... that although the 2018 release Hamari Paltan was promoted as the last film of veteran Indian actor Tom Alter, another one featuring him premiered later that same year? —BlueMoonset (talk) 13:41, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the new hook BlueMoonset. ALT1a is almost ready to go, I just need some clarification on this point: the hook fact is sourced to separate sources, none of which actually explicitly say that the other film was released after Hamari Paltan, but confirm the hook fact when used together. Would that be fine for verification purposes and this wouldn't count as synthesis? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:11, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Narutolovehinata5, I would imagine this comes under WP:CALC: Hamari Paltan was released on 27 April 2018, and Redrum was released in August 2018, which is clearly later in the year. I've edited the article to put the 27 April 2018 date in the body of the article; it isn't sufficient to have the date (or any hook information) in the infobox only. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:22, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I still have some reservations about the hook's interest as based on asking around Alter doesn't seem to be that well known at least among the Indians I've asked, but the description in the hook should suffice, and in any case the hook fact focuses on "it was promoted as his last film but it wasn't" which should allow for a broader audience.
