Halifax railway station → Halifax railway station (West Yorkshire) – This does not appear to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. It receives only 53.6% of the views of ambiguous articles, and some of those are probably misdirected because this is located at the base name.[1] It also has no more long-term significance, especially compared to Halifax railway station (Nova Scotia). Redirect[edit]

I have reinstated the redirect Halifax railway station --> Halifax railway station (West Yorkshire) as the change meant that over 100 links that previously went to the correct location were being unnecessarily pointed to a disambiguation page. I haven't found any cases at all where the intended target was some other Halifax station. Colonies Chris (talk) 15:07, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The page views mentioned in the RM above also provide a marginal case for the revert, but it's close enough that I didn't consider it worth questioning.

The solution here is to fix the redirects. The base name should redirect to disambiguation as it's WP:INCDAB. However there's no rush; I'll try to get on it when I have some time.--Cúchullain ^t/c 01:05, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
