Fair use rationale for Image:Helia logo.gif[edit]

Image:Helia logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Use of 'Helia' name[edit]

I notice that the 'Helia' name is still being used in this article. As far as I know, the correct form should be 'Haaga-Helia' as Helia, in effect, ceased to exist after Haaga and Helia merged. k33l0r (talk) 08:38, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Weak oppose. No justification for the move has been provided in terms of WP:NC, either here or above. Wikipedia:Official names would also be worth a read before proceeding any futher with this particular rename request. (Just for clarity, the move request currently listed at WP:RM is for a move Helsinki Business Polytechnic (Helia) -> Haaga-Helia University Of Applied Sciences.) Helsinki Business Polytechnic (Helia) → HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences – HAAGA-HELIA UAS was born when Helsinki Business Polytechnic and Haaga institute Polytechnic merged. Helsinki Business Polytechnic does not exist any more. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_polytechnics_in_Finland) At the moment when one looks for information about HAAGA-HELIA on wikipedia, the page is redirected to this Helsinki Business Polytechnic page that contains information about HAAGA-HELIA UAS. That is confusing. I hope that the name would be changed to HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences and the Helsinki Business Polytechnic and Haaga insitute polytechnic searches would redirect to this page. Move to Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (or even Haaga–Helia University of Applied Sciences, per WP:ENDASH -- not sure which would be the proper choice here). The all caps in the name don't indicate an acronym, so the words should not be capitalized in the article. Jafeluv (talk) 11:26, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Support alternative move to Haaga–Helia University of Applied Sciences, Google [1] [2] seems overwhelmingly in favour. This move reflects a subtle change in article topic which is entirely appropriate given the history of the subject.
