Peak hour trains to Marsden[edit]

The article as it stands suggests (with no source to back it up) that since May 2018, peak-hour trains exist from Guide Bridge to Marsden and Huddersfield (presumably calling at Stalybridge on the way).

A limited number of peak hour only Northern service are routed through Guide Bridge between Manchester Piccadilly-Marsden/Huddersfield and call at the station following the May 2018 timetable.

However, the May 2018 timetable change was a complete farce and some of the planned changes have still not been put in place. A look at the National Rail Enquiries journey planner suggests that the only option for travel directly between Guide Bridge and Stalybridge is the weekly train to/from Stockport - even after the May 2020 timetable change (which is of course provisional at this stage due to possible COVID-19 related changes). If anyone can supply a source that shows there have regularly been direct trains between Guide Bridge and Stalybridge (and beyond) in either direction at any point since May 2018 that would be very handy!
