"The word beginning Heu of Heuberg comes from a Swabian word which is identical in pronunciation and meaning to the English high and the word ending berg means mountain." That's wrong. "Heu" is Standard German (Swabian "Hai") and means "hay", which was the major income source for the inhabitants in recent times and is until nowdays formative for the landscape off the Heuberg. "High" would mean "hau" in Swabian ("hoch" in Standard German)--Oxasepp (talk) 19:09, 6 August 2014 (UTC) Even after the ortographic reform of 1998 the name usually spelled with an "ß". Only people outside Germany and Austria who usually have no "ß" on their Keybord and in international communication (such as tourism) it's written with an "ss".--Oxasepp (talk) 19:23, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
