Unmaintained but still available[edit]

Hi all, it's true that Grip is not being maintained and therefore out of the repositories of most Linux distributions. However, Gert van Dijk seems to provide a PPA that offers version 3.3.1 of Grip. Upon launch it says it's a development version, but it seems to work fine nonetheless.

On December 2016 a new maintainer picked up the development, forking the code to a new project site: https://sourceforge.net/projects/grip2/ where latest version is as of this writing v3.3.4.

Since I'm the new project leader, I should not be the one editing the article pointing to the new location, if that's even the correct thing to do. Solbu (talk) 23:37, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And now I have accuired access to the original project page, and have released v3.3.5 on the original project.
