First line[edit]

I found as the first line (i've displayed the markup rather than leaving the lk enabled)

[[Gravitation|Gravity]] is the physical force of attraction between massive particles and also the lyrical description of a kind of magical attraction to another human.

I knew i didn't have to deal with the vague word "lyrical" or the obscurity of using "gravity" (as opposed to "attraction") to mean "emotional attraction", but i'm pleased to report that Gravitation (which Gravity redirects to) does not mention either "human(s)", "people" or "relation..." -- pleased, bcz that means i didn't need to go take any similar senses of "gravity" out of the article; fixing the quoted sentence of this, & other unacceptable features, is much more quickly accomplished.

Please don't put back anything remotely like that, and if you don't see why, or you're not sure what's like that, consult Dab and MoSDab.

Gravity/Gravitation[edit]

Gravity is not the same as Gravitation. It is the resultant force on Earth's surface, of the attraction by the Earth's masses, and the centrifugal pseudo-force caused by the Earth's rotation. As mentioned in the Wikionary: [1]. But as I'm not a english native speaker, i rather wouldn't correct this! -- Peschke.holger (talk) 18:31, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Section renaming[edit]

Thank you for your 30 December edits, User:Froid. But as a friendly heads-up: when you rename a section header in the future, do check up if the current name(s) has any incoming links, or you might end up breaking these. For instance, the Gravity (2013 film) hat note referred to Gravity (disambiguation)#Film and television which broke when you renamed/restructured the page. I have fixed this, but best is if nobody needs to clean up after others. Cheers CapnZapp (talk) 14:32, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Duly noted. My apologies for creating a need for repair, and many thanks to you both for doing the repair and for the friendly heads-up. Cheers Froid (talk) 18:05, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

incoming links and section titles[edit]

I noticed you changes the names of sections, User:ShelfSkewed. Did you check (and change) incoming section links or alternatively added anchor tags with the old names? CapnZapp (talk) 20:39, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I usually do remember to do that. I'll take care of it.—ShelfSkewed Talk 21:29, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see any incoming links or redirects to the three sections I renamed, or to the ones I removed.—ShelfSkewed Talk 21:40, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
