Hyphenated name?[edit]

Is it correct to write "giant-striped mongoose," i.e. mongoose with giant stripes, or is this properly a "giant striped mongoose," i.e. a mongoose that is large and striped? —Monado (talk) 21:08, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong image?[edit]

The file for the image accompanying this article, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mungo1.jpg, gives an entirely different species name, Narrow-striped Mongoose (Mungotictis decemlineata). The critter in the film clip, copyright BBC , has broader stripes, which might be a species or an individual difference. —Monado (talk) 21:51, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
