Thyroid[edit]

The bitch is a racist murderer. It sucks she lived a decent life and didnt get what was coming to her. Exopthalmia? I couldn't help but notice Fortescue's wide-eyed stare (a la Marty Feldman) in her January 8, 1932, mug in Stannard's book. The narrative of her behavior coupled with the wide-eyed stare would suggest to me that she may have had an overactive thyroid gland. Aloysius Patacsil 21:35, Jun 14, 2005 (UTC)

Inconsistent?[edit]

The lead says she lived in New York, but then why was she tried for murder in Hawaii? Need to clarify this and generally work on sourcing. W Nowicki (talk) 22:46, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tone[edit]

I personally think that the tone of this article is rather misleading. The fact that she is called a hero is not an accurate statement. I think that this article should also be written to portray more the fact that the rape was by all accounts not possible from a time perspective as the alleged suspects were at the time across the city.
