This seems like an obvious merge candidate. Indeed, it may even be that all the info in the shorter article is already in the longer one. I think the only question that might be worthy of discussion is what the merged article should be called. Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events), Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people) and Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Articles about people notable only for one event would seem to be the relevant policies. United Kingdom article[edit]

Not everyone will associate the United Kingdom with this article as there are several Ministries of Defence around the world. I was half way through the article before I realized which country this article was associated with. So I explicitly stated the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence was involved. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 09:11, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
