Awfully dense lede
The introduction here is written in incredibly dense "legalese" that doesn't seem to match wikipedia's style. It also has a striking lack of examples of what goodwill actually is, making this article rather impenetrable to a layperson. It would be nice if someone with a good handle on the subject could rewrite the entire lede or at least insert some concrete examples.
