On 8 February 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved from B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences to Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. The result of the discussion was moved.

Move to spelled-out name[edit]

I propose a move of this article from GCCIS to Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences with a redirect to the new article. For rationale see Wikipedia policy WP:Naming_conventions. Will move Nov 1st 2006 (1 week) if no votes or consensus reached. (I don't imagine there will be a bit objection to this).

Added Facilities section[edit]

A "Facilities" section was added because the GCCIS page was lacking core content about the breadth of technology offered by the college that holds the most incoming students at RIT. B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences → Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences – Though the full official name is indeed "B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences", it seems that RIT has taken to shortening it to "Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences" in almost all instances, and the short version appears to be the common name. See their official website. It appears that the name shifted not long after RIT did a big rebrand in September 2018 (per "Smirking Tiger, Hidden Dots" by Kevin Zampieron, Reporter, 2018-11-12). Before May 2019 (archive), the GCCIS website had "B. Thomas" displayed prominently, but starting in May (archive), the "B. Thomas" was dropped except for a single mention on the about page.
