Confusion with gold nanoparticle formation?[edit]
I just added synthesis methods, mainly following the lead of Kristl-Drofenik and Senftle-Wright (since I can't read Italian). But their descriptions seem concerningly similar to the technique to form gold nanoparticles found in Likhatski, Mikhlin, Influence of Sulfide Ions on the Formation and Properties of Gold Nanoparticles in Aqueous Solutions. - Nvm, I think I figured it out. The Likhatski-Mikhlin paper is about aqueous solutions; presumably the metallic gold produced when water decomposes auric sulfide is in the form of nanoparticles. Bernanke's Crossbow (talk) 01:39, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
Is this stuff real?[edit]
My guess is that this material is not real. Where is the X-ray? Refs look weak. Its may be a dream of nanoscience groups, and correspondingly, the evidence is nanoscale.--Smokefoot (talk) 01:43, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
