Identity of the Godfreys of St. Victor, Breteuil and St. Barbara[edit]
Apparently this identity was not clear to Migne, but it is now cited as a matter of fact.[1][2]
However, this is not reflected in the "biography" given here.
Which Breteuil? Was this the place of his birth? And when was he at St-Barbe?
Schönberger et al. say he was first at St-Barbe and later subprior at St. Victor.
Berndt (1997) says he was first subprior at St-Barbe and later subprior at St. Victor.
Who figured this out and when, and why is this not reported in Feiss (2011)? --dab(𒁳) 12:51, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
