List purpose[edit]

This list exists in order to provide a more comprehensive resource of terms that goes beyond the utility that the archery category can readily provide. Not only does it allow for faster research of related words, but in addition some terms, for example Yew, would not rightly merit a place in the category due to their far more general use, however they are familiar to those involved in archery for both their historical and continued significance. ◄Zahakiel ► 22:03, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The term "Holster" need to be placed here. I spent hours trying to find how a bow was supposed to be sheathed, and as soon as I learned that word, my searches finally showed good results and learned all I needed to know. 65.93.130.38 (talk) 04:22, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
