look up pinyin and characters for the terms[edit]

We can use http://www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk/scripts/wordlist.htm to look up pinyin and characters for the terms we're not sure of; though of course having a native speaker check over this page would be much better.

In my cantonese dictionary it shows for the Yale transcription for 脚（leg) "goek" not "geuk" JonValkenberg (talk) 08:17, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reduce redundancy[edit]

A good portion of the terms here should be moved to a general section on Southern chinese martial arts terms or Chinese martial arts terms. and limit this section to terms specific to wing chun that are not used by other southern chinese martial art systems. photodude 18:43, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
