Commitment ordering[edit]

The neutrality of part of this page is disputed, as part of a wider discussion. See Talk:Commitment ordering and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Computer science#User:Comps / Commitment ordering. —Ruud 14:29, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I'd like to propose that this article be moved to a heading within Concurrency control, e.g. Concurrency Control in Federated Databases. The difference between the two articles is that this one discusses concurrency control in the context of a Federated database system, and I don't see that as a strong enough distinction to warrant its own page. It appears I had also completely overlooked the existence of the section on Distributed serializability and commitment ordering that would likely be moved into the proposed Federated Databases section, and greatly reduced. Linearizable (talk) 18:44, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
