Point of View[edit]

The following sentence needs to be changed to make neutral:

Glenn is committed to the style of operation of the Reserve established under Ian Macfarlane —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.56.142.159 (talk) 00:20, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

having trouble with NPOV[edit]

Now everyone knows that Stevens made a drastic stuff up in early 2008, raising interest rates in response to the financial crisis and rising petrol costs. Here are some reliable sources:

I'm having trouble coming up with text that looks anything like NPOV. Any suggestions? --Surturz (talk) 04:34, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reserve Bank Board[edit]

The Glenn Stevens as chair of the Reserve Bank of Australia does not make the decision to raise or lower rates. He just chairs the board of the Reserve Bank who makes the decision.

This page reads like Glenn Stevens himself alone is responsible for fluctuations in the official cash rate.

Fair enough, I have modified the text suitably. The criticism in the press was directed at Stevens personally, though, not at the RBA board. --Surturz (talk) 04:28, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reserve Bank Board[edit]

Glenn Stevens is not Oracle of Australia. An oracle is a person or agency considered to be a source of wise counsel or prophetic opinion. It may also be a revealed prediction or precognition of the future, from deities, that is spoken through another object or life-form (e.g.: augury and auspice).

Personal Life[edit]

Considering the importance of the role that this man plays in Australia's history a few more details regarding his personal life would be fitting. What societies is he a member of? What charities does he support? What foreign policies has he been known to support? What are his personal financial interests? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavoDavoDavo (talkcontribs) 04:33, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Going to Church doesn't make you a "committed Christian" any more than going to McDonalds makes you a hamburger. Stevens may claim to be a Christian, I don't know, but this only warrants the use of the term "professing Christian".DavoDavoDavo (talk) 01:34, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He may be a crypto-jew, i would suggest he is. Sellingstuff (talk) 05:25, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
