Third Novel[edit]

A third novel, entitled Summber Break is due out July 5th, 2011. As a note, I tried posting this on the main page, but was having technical difficulties which seem to be ongoing with Wikipedia vs my computer. Over six months late, but it's finally in there and reffed. I did a bit of rearranging in that paragraph. A couple of things I didn't think worth mentioning or would have been too complicated to go into (and, naturally, no references for the last point):
  1. Although the publication date is July 5, Amazon had it "in stock" on July 3, so I felt free to deal with it as already published.
  2. Although the author is named Sophia Lowell, it's almost certainly a pseudonym created for the series—not unlike Carolyn Keene for the Nancy Drew books—and could be any number of individual work-for-hire authors. Not that it might not be all the same person for a five book series, but I certainly wouldn't count on it.

Sue Sylvester bio: vaporware?[edit]

Although it's heavily featured on this page, including as the header photo, Sue did not write her bio in the second season—it wasn't included in her storyline. Indeed, the only mention of it at all is in the season one finale, "Journey to Regionals", when she's introduced as a judge; there's nothing about it in any of the season two episodes, nor can I find any references to it past summer 2010. Frankly, I think they've quietly allowed it to drop, or it might resurrect itself as part of her campaign for congress once that gets underway, but right now it looks more like another announced item that never does occur, like the Super Bowl tribute episode EP, which turned out to be neither tribute nor EP. Or the Mercedes/Sam relationship, which was also set up in a season finale, but with Sam no longer a regular, unlikely to happen in the following season.

I've lowered expectations of it on the main Glee page Merchandise section, noting that the book hasn't been scheduled, but it's going to require far more significant surgery on this page, since there's not only the paragraph in the Book Series section, but the featured picture of Jane Lynch on the page along with the intro info.
