Nationality[edit]
Gims isn't french, he applied for french nationality a while ago but was rejected because he had two wives. Polygamy isn't permitted in France and immigration authorities crack down on polygamous african immigrants. Of course he lives in France since childhood and is very well known there but he isn't french. About the article title : nobody calls him Maître Gims anymore, he only wants to be called Gims as of now. 109.3.194.5 (talk) 11:49, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
