Gilliam Township, Jasper County, Indiana[edit]

Gillam Township indeed has a historic church called Independence Methodist Church. This historic church has its own historic cemetery which is not mentioned in the list of cemeteries. I have researched this cemetery for over 40 years. The cemetery is simply called Independence Cemetery. This cemetery is the largest cemetery in Gillam Township. Also, FYI, the students that live in Gilliam Township are serviced by West Central School Corporation. Most of the school district is located in Pulaski County, east of Jasper County.
