Buildings next to Rani Pokhari[edit]

What I found so far, is that the clock tower Ghantaghar was rebuilt after earthquakes in 1934 and 1990, and that Bir Shumsher supposedly built the first(?) tower, probably during his reign in the 1880ies (?). However, the adjacent low building next to the tower (the spot of trichandra college today) has been referenced elsewhere to have already existed, presumably around the year 1840. When was the original structure built?

In other news, could we have a picture of the second tower that stood there between 1934 and 1990? --Enyavar (talk) 15:08, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

When was the construction finished?[edit]
