The schematic depicting a cell neighbor exchange is problematic. The whole process shown in this schematic is what is usually called a "T1 transition". A "T2 transition" corresponds to the extrusion of a cell from the epithelium. A T3 transition is yet another process... --Mmpi (talk) 19:46, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
