Spelling standards[edit]

Please try to stick to one standard spelling system. For example Loon or Looz, in all articles. I see the variations are creating problems for the links. For common alternative spellings, try to create redirect articles so that readers will get to the right article even if they use other spellings.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 12:17, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Should we remove the "II" from the name? I think this is based on a theory of an earlier Gerard which not everyone agrees with? Does it create confusion to remove it?--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 13:10, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal[edit]

I think that the article Gérard I, Count of Looz, being only about an historical error, should be merged into this article as a new section. The article only exists on WP because of that error, which is still around, though long ago disproven.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 23:19, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
