My name is George Brock (not George Brock Boomer Lesnar). Full name: George Laurence Brock

I am now a former Professor of Journalism at City, University of London (the university made a slight change to its name a few years ago). I was a Professor from 2009 – 2017. (I was, as the entry correctly says, Head of Journalism 2009-14). I was also a Visiting Professor at the university’s Business School 2017-2020.

Career: I left The Times in 2009 (not 2008). Other responsibilities: I was on the board of the World Editors Forum 2001-14 (and president 04-08). I have certainly written for papers in Sweden, the US and Poland, but not Timbuktu.

Books: In 2016, I published The Right To Be Forgotten: Privacy and the Media in the Digital Age (RISJ/I B Tauris).

@GeorgeOxford: Hi George. I went ahead and corrected the name and the college’s name. The other requested changes (i.e., the positions you have held) need to be backed up by sources per WP:RS and WP:IS. When you find them, please include them here and re-open the edit request. An editor will be happy to add them and make these small changes. Ferkjl (talk) 20:30, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
