A clear-cut contribution to modern Grammar[edit]

Honourable late Geoffery Leech has furnished the modern grammar with distinguished basic concepts such as word, phrase, clause etc. He is the first personality to speak on these concepts with so much accuracy, so much authenticity and with so much clarity that no one can be equalled to him. His demise has vacanted such a distinguished seat in the history of language that nobody can fill it up. I salute him. Birbal Kumawat (talk) 07:17, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
