Notability[edit]

As has been pointed out in the comments by another AfC reviewer, despite being a very short stub the subject is well supported by several serious news sources. Therefore I've accepted the article. It can be easily expanded using the available news articles. I've created a redirect from 'Geek and Sundry', because a few sources describe it as such. Sionk (talk) 10:25, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Needless to say, any content needs to be verifiable in independent sources, be neutral in tone and non-promotional. I've removed descriptions of the Channel's web content because it was clearly biased, promotional and unsourced. Sionk (talk) 23:03, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a new user did a WP:COPYPASTE from press releases/blog postings[1]. Good catch on the revert. -- Eclipsed (talk) (COI Declaration) 06:18, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yes, evidently the source! Sionk (talk) 10:22, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Possible to add a hashtag symbol without triggering a numbered list?[edit]

Geek & Sundry has added a show called #parent. Entering it that way in the wiki renders as 1. parent. Is there any way to override the list formatting? Have entered it as (hashtag)parent for now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluedilly (talkcontribs) 23:36, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Remaining shows added[edit]

I went through today and added all the shows on the Geek & Sundry website which were not listed here. That to my knowledge is every show, disregarding some of the Alpha exclusives that don't have good sources available today, two years after the service went down. If anyone wishes to go digging, Otaking Heads is one such show.--ERAGON (talk) 19:52, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the G&S site went down today. The article's programming list still does not cover "Brick battles Tower Defense" and "Project Pixel", but I'm relatively confident these were one-offs rather than ongoing series.--ERAGON (talk) 15:38, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah the site is back up, never mind. According to the site Project Pixel did actually have a longer run on Alpha, so the only show from the G&S page not represented in the table is Brick Battles, which was indeed a one-off. --ERAGON (talk) 17:44, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

G&S website is dead[edit]

It appears that the G&S website is dead and most (but not all) articles are just redirecting to the Nerdist homepage. I've put in a request at Wikipedia:Link rot/URL change requests/Archives/2022/January#Geek & Sundry for help pulling archive links as G&S is a secondary source for a lot of rpg/tabletop games in addition to being a primary source for this article.
