  • This article is confusing a couple of different things. The track listing and musician lineup don't match the 1958 album, they perhaps match a later 'best-of' compilation.
  • The track listing and personnel are for the 1995 compilation album "The Best of Johnny Guitar Watson: Gangster of Love" which compiled tracks from the late 1970s.

Gangster of Love album[edit]

There are several problems with the current article, which was originally about the song, but later "expanded to an album article". Several Watson compilation albums with different track listings titled Gangster of Love have been released by various record companies over the years, none on Keen or King and none being his debut album (I Cried for You (Cadet) and Johnny Guitar Watson (King) were his first albums, released in 1963-64). The current article track listing does not match the allmusic linked review and the album cover does not match the Sanctuary release. Since none of these albums appear to meet WP:NALBUMS, propose to restore article to address the song "Gangster of Love", which was a charting hit and has been recorded by several notable artists. -Ojorojo (talk) 17:06, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
