In response to the recent change by Dunner99 (Removal of advertising for an event that happened three weeks ago.)

I'm sorry if this is an advertisement:

The American progressive rock band Tool performed at Gammage on May 6th 2006 starting at 8:00PM MST [1].

I personally added this sentence to the article and in good faith. I only thought this was an unlikely event which was worth noting here, as you should see I added this after the event had happened and used past tense. Also I'd like to make it clear that I am in no way affiliated with the band Tool or the auditorium, I simply live in the general vicinity and have heard many times about the rarity of such an event. I of course apologize if I have somehow broken any Wikipedia rules.

I actually planned on adding more about this because don't think there have been many other rock bands to play at Gammage. Actually I thought Bruce Springsteen was the only other but until I found a reference to this somewhere else I was going to leave it at this.

Hope to clear this up, please let me know what action should be take, and sorry for any confusion. --David Monaghan 04:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Baghdad Opera House[edit]

I've heard from various people that the Gammage building is based on an original design for a Baghdad opera house, but I have not seen any documented references. Does anyone have verifiable documentation of this? → 05:08, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Permission to remove template message[edit]

I believe I have adequately addressed the message's concerns related to the lack of citations and reliable sources by adding an entire history section and completely rewriting the introduction.
