This article is about the first G.I. Joe: Cobra mini-series, but it has been a stub-class article for a while, with no signs of being expanded. I noticed that someone tried to include info about the entire series, which was reverted by Plastelin, and rightly so. But in the interest of expanding this article to at least a start-class, would anyone object to me modifying this article, to be about ALL the comics titled G.I. Joe: Cobra? No concern at all. But I think its important we not muddy the waters by calling the current series Volume 3, when IDW itself labels it Volume 2. The distinction is that there were two mini series (G.I. Joe: Cobra and G.I. Joe: Cobra II), from which the first volume extended as the 5th issue of G.I. Joe: Cobra II (now named G.I. Joe Cobra). The series was re-started as G.I. Joe Cobra: Cobra Civil War with issue #0, and then shortened to G.I. Joe Cobra Volume 2 with issue #2. At this date, the latest issue (#8) is known as G.I. Joe Cobra Volume 2. If we continue to indicate this (2nd) ongoing series is the 3rd volume, it will only serve to confuse the readers attempting to find such a publication.--LeyteWolfer (talk) 04:30, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
