5000 BCE ?[edit]

What does "Gözlükule was an important settlement and a port during 5000 BC." mean? It was an important settlement around that time or since that time? And where are references to RS ? ♆ CUSH ♆ 17:15, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed that it is an odd statement, but it was in the original stub I upgraded and before I messed with it I wanted to go a little checking. I "think" the original author meant "5000 years ago" but I wasn't sure off the top of my head. And I am blanking on what RS stands for.Ploversegg (talk) 17:40, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Reliable Sources. If the site is claimed to be 7000 years old, there should be a link to a publication that supports that claim. A website of a university department or any other research facility that conducted excavations there would suffice. ♆ CUSH ♆ 18:21, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
